Superman Adventures – A comic book series published by DC Comics based on the 1996 animated TV series. The comic title ran from 1996 to 2002. Its stories are set within the animated series storyline and therefore not in continuity with the regular DC Superman titles. The comic book run begins with Superman Adventures #1 published in November of 1996 and officially ends with issue #66 in April 2002. Lana Lang makes her first appearance in this series in Superman Adventures #26 (December 1998) and her first cover appearance in Superman Adventures #51 (January 2001).
