Superboy (TV Series) – A comic book series published by DC Comics based on the 1988 TV series. The comic title ran from 1990 to 1991. It is set in the continuity of the TV show and therefore is not in continuity with the regular DC Superman titles. This comic book run begins with Superboy: The Comic Book #1 published in February 1990 and officially ends with issue #17 in June 1991. There was also a ‘special’ book titled The Adventures of Superboy Special that was published in 1992. Lana Lang makes her first appearance in this series in Superboy: The Comic Book #1 and her first cover appearance on this same issue.
