According to comicbookmovie.com, it is rumored that Jadin Gould has been cast to play a young Lana Lang in Zack Snyder's Man of Steel.

"There are some unconfirmed reports coming out that Zack Snyder has cast a younger version of Clark Kent and his high school girlfriend Lana Lang for Man of Steel. The kids that have been cast are to play 13 year old versions of the characters. As usual our friends at The Man of Steel Facebook Page have the low down on whats going on. They are reporting that the two kids are named Dylan Sprayberry(young Clark) and Jadin Gould(young Lana). They also show that the kids were in Chicago at the same time when Man of Steel was shooting there in September."

 

Again, it is important to stress that this is just a rumor...lets hope that unlike all the previous Lana rumors thus far, that this one actually turns out to be true.

UPDATE! supermansupersite.com has confirmed it! Actress Jadin Gould will be playing young Lana Lang in "Man of Steel"! Yay!!!

I wonder if they will make her a Redhead in the movie?? At least Lana will be making an appearance in THIS movie. Hoping that it is such a cute and memorable scene that it makes people want to see MORE of her.........all grown up! *Crossing fingers*

I was also hoping to see an adult Lana Lang in this new 'Superman' film. But, I guess, considering the possibility of not having Lana at all then, I am happy we are at least going to see a young version of her [if the rumor turns out to be true]. Who knows, maybe as 'supergirl' said, it might be an indicator that she will make an appearance in a sequel.

I don't know how to feel about this, I want to be happy, but I just know all we'll get is maybe one or two scenes of Lana throughout the entire movie, leaving us wanting more. I really hope they surprise us by showing a grown up Lana at the end, signalling that she will be the main love interest for the sequel.
