Superman: The Animated Series [Superman: TAS] – An animated television series produced by Warner Bros. Animation that ran for three seasons on the WB network. It was developed by Bruce Timm, Paul Dini, and Alan Burnett and premiered on September 6, 1996. This series presented a more mature and modern look to the many adventures of Superman/Clark Kent (Tim Daly) in and around Metropolis. It was of similar tone and style to that of its predecessor Batman: The Animated Series which had proven to be quite a successful cartoon series for the WB.
Lana Lang made several special and quite memorable appearances during its 3 year run. She was shown as both a teenager, voiced by Kelly Schmidt and as an adult; voiced by Joely Fisher.
