When we last very briefly saw Lana in 'Smallville Season 11 #41', she had taken a superhero alias in a crusade against African warlords. Lois Lane had gone on assignment to the Congo for the Daily Planet to investigate this mysterious vigilante, the so-called Angel of the Plateau aka Lana Lang. It is there that Lois and Lana reconnect when Lana saves Lois's life!

Evangeline Lilly who famously played Kate on the hit series 'Lost', answered a fan's tweet on working with the 'Smallville' cast. Yes, its true, before her break-out role on 'Lost', Evangeline Lilly appeared as an extra in three different 'Smallville' episodes, including Season 1 episode titled, "Kinetic." What is really sweet is that she singled Kristin out in her response.

Last week, I highlighted a 'very cool' Lana Lang comic ad from "Superman's Girlfriend Lois Lane" (September 1962). Here is another neat vintage 'DC House Ad' from Action Comics #247 (December 1958) featuring Lana Lang.
Can you spot Lana Lang?

"The Superman Family has been featured in hundreds of DC in-house ads. I, Robby Reed, creator of this site and author of this paragraph, reviewed them ALL, and selected the most unusual of the entire lot for this issue of DIAL B. These ads, each created by Ira Schnapp or Gaspar Saladino, all reveal a piece of Superman family history. Let's start with a super-quiz..." ~ Robby Reed

[There is one brief Kristin shout-out from Amanda Tapping talking about Billy Boyd:
"Billy [Boyd], Robin [Dunne], and Kristin [Kreuk] and I used to go out for dinner every night after shooting. We usually have our actor's salads and a glass of wine as you do ...and it's just lovely we just have a lovely time the four of us together and laughed a lot. So, it's the very last night, we go to the rap party, we all get driven home together and we're going up the elevator in our hotel... and Kristin, Robin, and I are all in the same floor...Billy is one floor below us. And we are all sort of anticipating the big sort of actor huggy moment at the end where we go 'aww, it's been so great' we're all hugging and crying. But we get to Billy's floor. Doors open, he gets out, he turns around and he goes "It's all been s**t!" and the doors close and we're just peeing ourselves. ~ Amanda Tapping]
According to Robin Dunne, there are plans of making the film available online and will keep fans posted when available.
