According to Comic Vine's exclusive preview pages, Lana Lang will be making an appearance in 'Superman #20'! The issue will showcase Clark Kent having a mind altering vision of a blissful life with Lana Lang a la 'For the Man Who Has Everything' (Animation) until, 'Wham', all hell breaks loose. Very cool, but why is it we only get alternate reality or flashback stories involving Lana?!! I want to SEE what Lana Lang is doing NOW!!! *sigh* I don't know if there will be more of Lana in the comic besides what is shown on these preview pages...will find out this week when the issues goes on sale Wednesday the 22nd.
"If you read the last issue of SUPERMAN, you know that the appearance of Hector Hammond has brought some pretty strange incidents in Superman's life. When Clark and Wonder Woman (as Diana Prince) decided to attend Lois and Jonathan Carroll's house warming party, we saw some crazy visions. When Orion entered the picture, it started getting a little ugly."

Great review! I haven't had the chance to read this latest chapter of 'Valkyrie' yet...shame on me, I know! I've been busy dealing with a whole lot of tech problems all week. But, based on some of my 'super' friends' feedback and this reviewer's thoughts on the issue, I can't wait until I get some quiet time and enjoy Lana Lang's adventures in this comic!

Famed producer, Chairman, and CEO of 'Hyde Park' Entertainment, Ashok Amritraj, said this about Kristin Kreuk in a tweet a few weeks ago:

Awesomeness!
In honor of Ashok Amritraj's tweet, here is a 'very cool' behind the scenes video of Kristin Kreuk training for 'Street Fighter Legend of Chun Li'! Renowned action choreographer Dion Lam ("The Matrix" trilogy, "Spider-Man 2") worked with Kristin on her fight scenes! Love it!!!!
'Smallville Season 11' comic writer, Bryan Q. Miller was interviewed by CBR and talks about his work on DC Comics digital-first 'Smallville' comic and the return of Lana Lang!
On his goals for the "Smallville" comic: What I try to do with the book is not do a disservice to anything that's come before. There will be fans that say, "You can fix this mistake or you can fix this mistake!" That's not -- a lot of people worked on the show for a really long time, so it's certainly not my place to go in and say, "That was crap. We're going to fix all of that." There may be some loose ends that we tie up or some things like this Lana issue that we rejoin and come back to see where she's been going with her life and maybe some commentary that comes with that, but we're certainly not with this book in the business of undoing things that came before with the show. Because, I do love the show and have a great amount of respect for everything that went into the making of that show.
On bringing Lana back to the "Smallville" universe: It was challenging in that it was the "Lana Returns" story, but also, with the way we have the story staggered out, it's one of our fill-in week stories -- because we do our three main arc weeks, and then if it's a four or five week month, we have stories that come in so we don't get too far ahead of the print schedule with what the digital audience is reading. This is one of those stories. We did one with Martian Manhunter last month -- he used to be on the show and he didn't get a lot of time in the last couple years. We looked into his past. This is kind of our look behind the curtain as to what Lana's been up to since she left, through Lois' eyes, because Lois is the one that finds her...."
Great Interview! I loved Bryan Q. Miller's thoughts and goals on the comic and Lana's character. THANK YOU!
I love Bryan's words on respecting the TV series and all of the talented people who contributed to its successful 10 year run. I love that he indicated that the 'Smallville Season 11' comic is not there to 'fix' or 'undo what came before', but rather a continuation of a story and its beloved characters. I love that so far, this isn't a Lois vs. Lana, but rather about these two strong women fighting for good (and not each other). I love that so far, its focusing on Lana Lang as a stand alone character and not part of a love triangle or some sort of flashback from 'Superman's past. Lana Lang is 'very' present and a strong character in her own right. I love all of the media attention Lana's character has generated these past few weeks...TVGuide, this CBR Interview, Zap2it interviewing Kristin Kreuk on Lana Lang in "Man of Steel"...etc.
Let's face it, it hasn't been easy being a Lana Lang fan. Especially, a later seasons 'Smallville Lana' fan. I know, I was there throughout the whole social media 'Smallville' fandemonium (I moderated a popular 'Smallville' site 'Devoted to Smallville', was a K-Site member, Sweet, CW forums when they had forums...and so on. I've seen and read a lot of strong words from this 'very' passionate fanbase. I often wonder if Gwen Stacy over at Marvel generates this much of a rise from fans at the mere mention of her name. Somehow, I doubt it. Anyway, I admit I was a little apprehensive going into this "Lana" storyline...I still am...a little...can't help it, been left scarred...but, after being so pleasantly surprised with her portrayal in the latest issue and after this interview, I am left really looking forward to see where Bryan takes her.
The following is the comic solicit for the printed copy of 'Valkrie' available in July!

When Lois Lane accepts an assignment outside of Metropolis, she gets more than she bargained for. Follow the Daily Planet's star reporter to the Congo as she investigates the Angel of the Plateau! "Valkyrie" reintroduces Lana Lang to the series!
Annette O'Toole has traded in her acting cap to one of director. At least temporarily, we hope! According to playbill, Annette is directing the stage play 'Kunstler' now playing in Pace University, New York. Awesome!
"Academy Award nominee Annette O'Toole directs the world premiere of Jeffrey Sweet's Kunstler, featuring Jeff McCarthy and Keona Welch, for the Hudson Stage Company beginning April 26. O'Toole ("A Mighty Wind," Southern Comfort, Heresy) helms the two-actor drama that features McCarthy (Side Show, Urinetown) as late activist lawyer William Kunstler and Welch (A Raisin in the Sun, Ruined) as a young law student who encounters him..."
When we last very briefly saw Lana in 'Smallville Season 11 #41', she had taken a superhero alias in a crusade against African warlords. Lois Lane had gone on assignment to the Congo for the Daily Planet to investigate this mysterious vigilante, the so-called Angel of the Plateau aka Lana Lang. It is there that Lois and Lana reconnect when Lana saves Lois's life!

Evangeline Lilly who famously played Kate on the hit series 'Lost', answered a fan's tweet on working with the 'Smallville' cast. Yes, its true, before her break-out role on 'Lost', Evangeline Lilly appeared as an extra in three different 'Smallville' episodes, including Season 1 episode titled, "Kinetic." What is really sweet is that she singled Kristin out in her response.
